Project OSS:
Project OSS is a joint effort between Steve Nash, G0 UQT, and Andy Jenner, G7 JNA, to introduce other club members to Open Source Software. We are presenting a series of talks that cover general purpose software (such as Office applications) and more specialist software of use to Radio Amateurs.
Throughout is project we will be using the Linux Distribution called Ubuntu as well as the Office Suite called Open Office, see the table below for links to the relevant sites.

Open Officehttp://www.openoffice.org
Note: When downloading CD/DVD ISO image files please remember to burn them correctly, your CD/DVD software will have special options for burning ISO images. The process is different from the usual way of copying normal data files to a CD/DVD.
We will make the material used in our presentations available on this website under the Programme section of Project OSS.
