Hybrid Quiz

An opportunity to test your General (and some Radio) knowledge against others in the Club, just for fun.

This will be a Hybrid event if we can get the technology to work so you can either attend in person or attend virtually probably over ZOOM for which links will be made available.

For those attending in person please bring a working smart phone with a SIM card and data plan, you will need this to log into the quiz site using your phones web browser to submit your answers.

For those attending virtually you will need either 2 devices or at least 2 screens:

1. On the first machine or screen you will want to run the ZOOM client to provide communications
2. On the second device or screen you will want to run a web browser to login to the quiz site and submit your answers

The suggested programme for the event is:

• 19:00 – 19:30 – Setup and network testing (Andy G7KNA/Steve G0UQT)
• 19:30 – 20:00 – General login and chat, further network stress testing
• 20:00 – 20:15 – Dummy run of the quiz software for familiarisation.
• 20:15 – 21:00 – Quiz
• 21:00 – 21:30/22:00 – Informal chat sessions

There will be 5 rounds each of 5 questions under the following headings:

• General Knowledge
• TV and Film
• Amateur Radio
• Music
• Odd One Out
