RSGB Club of the Year 2016 #1 – Region 11 Winner

RSGB Region 11 Small Club of the Year 2016

The Regional Club of the Year winners were announced at the recent RSGB AGM.

In Region 11, which covers the South West of England and the Channel Islands, South Bristol ARC won the small club category for Clubs with less than 25 members.

This is a great result for the Club and coincides with a revival of fortunes as we recruit members through: our training offering and Special Events as well as undertaking improvements and alterations to our Club equipment and installation.

The Officers and Committee would like to thank all members for their continued support and commitment to the Clubs activities, it is your efforts that have allowed us to demonstrate an active and vibrant Club.

The national competition winners will be decided by the RSGB Board and the top three large and small clubs will be invited to attend a presentation at the National Hamfest in Newark in September.
