Advanced Exam 17/08/2017 #2

New Callsign Issued

John, whose sitting of the Advanced Exam is described in an earlier post, has safely navigated the OfCom licencing portal and now has his shiny new M0 callsign, M0JFO.

As far as he knows this is a valid and available callsign since OfCom appear to have fixed the error that was allowing issued callsigns to be reissued. More importnatly JFO is the 3 letter suffix he always wanted for his Foundation and Intermediate callsign but couldn’t have as they were both allocated. To say that he his “chuffed” not only to have passed but also to have obtained his first choice callsign is an understatement.

Well done John, this result is a testament to the hard work and preparation you put in.
