Greg has a new Callsign

Self study student Greg has sat his Foundation exam and has a new callsign

Greg has been quietly self studying with some support from us for his Foundation exam.

After getting in touch with us during lockdown he equipped himself with a copy of the Foundation Licence Manual, the Exam Secrets book and copies of our Training Notes and embarked on a self study course just occasionally getting in touch with Andy G7KNA via TWITTER or EMail when he needed some assistance.

After an internet failure his exam was rescheduled to last week (w/c 22/03/2021) under the remote invigilation rules.

Greg got in touch over the weekend to say he had passed his exam, you’ll see his exuberant TWEET in his TWITTER Timeline.

Today, Greg got in touch again to say that he’s navigated the OfCom Licence Portal and had obtained the callsign M7BUF.

So if you hear Mike Seven Bravo Uniform Foxtrot, that’s dah-dah  dah-dah-di-di-dit  dah-di-di-dit  di-di-dah  di-di-dah-dit on air please welcome him to the bands and the hobby.

Many congratulations to Greg M7BUF for getting himself through the Foundation exam, we look forward to working you on the bands and within our nets.
